Leo Kleden lahir di Flores Timur pada 1950, dan sekarang bekerja sebagai seorang pastor dari tarekat SVD (Societas Verbi Divini). Doktor filsafat lulusan Universitas Leuven, Belgia. Pengajar filsafat pada STF Ledalero, Maumere, Flores.
